Take The Lead is the first-ever running industry retreat centering the experience of women and femme of color with the mission to validate, support, and lead change they want to see in the running industry. Take The Lead is co-founded by Alison Mariella Désir and Martha M. Garcia.

I volunteered with the original members of the planning committee to market the first TTL retreat - starting from scratch and managing all organic social media efforts across Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.

I’ve remained a member of the planning committee in 2023 and have taken on a head of content role, which includes overseeing woctakethelead.com in addition to the social media channels.
